World Class Fishing – Nonacho Lake

Guest Comments

Pete Tornquist;  I just back from trip to Nonacho Lake, where do I start. Greeted at the dock off float plane by Myles and Lisa operators, luggage was picked up taken to the cabin, very clean comfortable beds some of the best I’ve had on 17-18 fly outs. Ready to hit the water fishing within an hour, what a amazing special place nature at its finest, fishing the best I’ve ever had, 578 caught, missed lots ? 200-300. 16 over 20lbs, 4 over 30lbs, 1 – 43lbs wow! This was my first time trying to figure out how to schedule next year for sure. There are some big big fish there, had one run 165 ft off line counter I was trying to follow but he got away I knew I was in the right area when I was catching 5-8 lb fish that had narrowly escaped being engulfed. Myles and wife Lisa, son Josh were very accommodating the whole trip, they put in new stove while I was there. The hot showers were so nice as Arnold said “I’ll be back”. There was wind and rain but there are many islands bays to fish as well as big water, best of both worlds fishing. P.S. I would be happy to talk to anyone that would like reference just save a spot for me please.

Thank you Pete for the nice comments!
It was a real pleasure meeting you & having you as a guest at Nonacho Lake. We look forward to seeing you this up & coming summer of 2019.
Should be another fantastic summer of fishing as always.
You told me when you left that you were played right out, how are you going to survive the 2 weeks that you have booked this year? Better start eating more Wheaties. 🙂

    Kind Regards
    Myles

By far the best fishing experience I have had period! I have been on 6 fly in trips in northern Canada before and so guess I have some experience when it comes to what to expect.

We had some luggage issues at the airport. Turned out on the way from Edmonton a bag fell off the conveyor belt and was not going to make it to the lake. This issue had nothing to do with Myles and his operation, but he found a way to get us anything that we needed.
Myles is one of the nicest most genuine people I have ever met. If you spend anytime on the phone with him you will quickly understand what I mean.
    Countless fish, and great lodging!
    Hope to back soon!
